How to Throw Food Farther
Falling just short of the next area can keep better animals out of reach. To improve your Throw Food For Animals throw distance, train on pull-up stands to gain Throw Power, then aim for the perfect line when throwing. Reaching farther areas gives you access to stronger, rarer animals that can increase your income.
Pull-up training is the foundation of longer throws. Buying an upgraded stand and actually training on it are separate steps, so return to the stand after spending your cash.
Use this training routine:
- Upgrade your pull-up stand with money earned from your animals.
- Train on the stand to build Throw Power.
- Return to the throwing line and aim for a perfect throw.
- Check which area the food reaches before deciding whether to train more.
Use area boundaries as progress markers. Reaching Forest, then pushing into later areas such as Jungle, gives you a practical way to judge your range without chasing a particular level.

Hit the Perfect Line Near an Area Boundary
Throw timing matters even after you have built up your strength. An incomplete charge can still reach an area you already visit comfortably, while a throw near your distance limit needs better execution.

Taiga is a useful example: a throw can fall short with imperfect timing, then reach the area when you tap on the line. If you are close to crossing a boundary, improve your timing before committing to another stretch of training.
For a cleaner comparison:
- Use the same food while practicing your timing.
- Compare where a perfect throw lands against a mistimed attempt.
- Judge your reach from the well-timed attempt.
Keep your immediate target manageable. Aim to reach the next area consistently before worrying about the far end of the map.
Adjust Your Range With the Gear Icon
The gear icon beside your strength stat opens an adjustment for how far you throw. Use it when you want to control your landing distance instead of always sending food as far as possible.

If you are trying to reach a farther area, check that adjustment alongside your training and timing. If you want another catch from an earlier area, use the distance control to aim your throws there.
Keep the setting consistent while comparing throws. Changing the range adjustment between attempts makes it harder to judge what your training or timing improved.
Spend Animal Income on Training and Better Food
Your animals earn money, and that income funds both pull-up stand upgrades and better food. Give each purchase a clear purpose: train to increase Throw Power, and buy better food to attract rarer animals.

When your throws keep landing short, put money toward your training setup and use it. Once you can reach the area you want, work toward a food upgrade for your next catches.
Food does not guarantee a particular animal. An apple can attract a bird on one throw and a badger on another. Keep throwing for more chances rather than expecting every purchase to deliver one specific catch.
Pen capacity also matters. A full pen can stop you from throwing again, so upgrade its capacity or sell unwanted animals when you run out of room. Check your animals’ income before selling them to make space.
Optional Training and Cash Passes
The x2 Training Power pass costs 149 Robux and doubles XP from every pull-up permanently. It directly supports your training, but you still need to use the stand.
The x2 Cash pass costs 99 Robux and permanently doubles cash earned from animals. That extra income can fund stand and food upgrades; increasing your actual throwing power still takes training.
