Throw Food For Animals Beginner Guide: Progress Faster
Use this Throw Food For Animals beginner guide to train Throw Power, upgrade food, equip stronger animals, and build cash income as you reach new areas.

Start With the Throw–Train–Upgrade Loop
Your next animal can turn a trickle of cash into enough money for several upgrades. This Throw Food For Animals beginner guide explains how to connect training, better food, and animal income so each purchase helps you move forward. Start by building your income, then use it to improve your throws and reach new areas.
1. Make your opening throws count
In Throw Food For Animals on Roblox, you throw food to attract animals, collect them, and earn money from them. Your starting food is a carrot, and an early frog earns $2 per second.
Follow this opening sequence:
- Throw your carrot to collect an animal.
- Place your animal so it contributes income.
- Use the wooden pull-up bar to increase your Throw Power.
- Buy better food and upgrade your training bar as you can afford them.
- Throw again, then compare your new animal’s income with your current lineup.
The apple costs 30 cash, making it an early purchase to work toward. Keep alternating between training and throwing rather than spending your entire opening session on either activity.
2. Check the shop for the free hyena
Look for the free hyena in the shop. It earns 200 cash per second, giving your starting collection a substantial income boost.
Place it before returning to training. That income can help fund food and bar upgrades while you build enough power to reach farther.
Build Throw Power Without Neglecting Your Income

3. Upgrade the pull-up bar, then use it
Pull-ups increase Throw Power, which helps you throw farther and reach areas with stronger animals. Upgrading the bar improves your training gains.
Buying a bar is only part of the process: return to it and train before judging your next throw. Watch whether the food reaches farther after your training stretch.
Use your landing area to guide your next purchase:
- Repeatedly landing short of the next area? Upgrade your bar when affordable and train more.
- Already reaching a new area? Make additional throws to collect animals from it.
- Still using several weak animals? Refresh your lineup before committing to a long training session.
Avoid chasing a particular level as a guaranteed area unlock. Your practical target is enough throwing distance to reach the next area.
4. Aim for a perfect throw
The throw timing interaction can award a perfect result of +20. Aim for that result consistently, especially when you are close to crossing an area boundary.
Timing supports your progress alongside training. If a perfect throw still lands short, return to the pull-up bar rather than expecting another identical attempt to solve the distance problem.
Upgrade Food Alongside Your Training

5. Spend on the upgrade that addresses your current limit
Better food helps attract rarer animals. Throw Power helps you reach farther. Keep both moving forward instead of putting every dollar into one upgrade track.
Early food purchases include the apple and banana, followed by options such as toast and orange. Later purchases include bread loaf, watermelon, croissant, and chocolate.
Before spending, ask what is holding you back:
- Train when you need more distance.
- Upgrade food when you want better chances at rarer animals.
- Collect more animals when your current income makes either purchase difficult.
After buying new food, make another throw and compare the result’s earnings. A more expensive food purchase does not make every individual catch an improvement.
Keep Your Strongest Animals Working

6. Compare cash per second before rarity
A dramatic rarity number can distract you from the stat that funds your next upgrade: income.
Compare each catch’s displayed earnings rather than choosing by appearance, mutation, or rarity alone. Ocean animals provide a useful example:
| Animal | Cash per second |
|---|---|
| Seahorse | 20 million |
| Mantis shrimp | 30 million |
| Gold mantis shrimp | 45 million |
The gold mantis shrimp earns more than either of the other examples, but even the ordinary mantis shrimp outproduces the seahorse.
Check the actual animal you receive. Size and mutations can change its earnings, so use the displayed value when deciding what to equip.
7. Use Equip Best and watch your plot capacity
Open the Animals menu and use Equip Best after collecting stronger animals. Keep replacing your early earners as you reach areas with much higher payouts.
When the plot fills up, check both your equipped lineup and the capacity upgrade. Additional slots let you place more animals, while replacing weak animals improves the income from slots you already have.
Prioritize the immediate problem:
- Use Equip Best when stronger animals are sitting in your inventory.
- Compare capacity upgrade costs when you have more useful animals than available spaces.
- Review earnings before selling weaker animals.
Understand Paid Boosts Before Buying
8. Separate permanent passes from event purchases
The permanent passes offer two different benefits:
- x2 Training Power — 149 Robux: doubles XP from every pull-up.
- x2 Cash — 99 Robux: doubles cash earned from every animal.
Choose based on the activity you want to accelerate. Training XP helps with building power; increased animal income helps fund purchases.
The Halloween Pumpkin Monster is a separate event purchase that earns 900% of your best animal’s income. For example, a best animal earning $300,000 per second makes the Pumpkin Monster earn 2.7 million cash per second. Improving your strongest animal therefore improves that event animal’s payout too.
9. Activate Lucky Throws before throwing
If you purchase Lucky Throws, select the option before launching your food. Buying them and activating them are separate actions.
Keep leaderboard goals separate from your opening progression, too. The money leaderboard tracks total money earned, so a high income rate alone does not determine your position. Build a productive animal lineup before spending toward a leaderboard chase.
