How to Train and Increase Throw Power

A fully charged throw only gets you so far without stronger arms. Throw Food For Animals training builds Throw Power through pull-ups, helping you send food into farther areas and collect stronger, rarer animals. Start at your pull-up stand, then use the money your animals earn to upgrade your training equipment.

The basic training sequence is straightforward:

  1. Enter the training circle at your pull-up stand.
  2. Perform pull-ups to build your strength.
  3. Use Stop when you want to leave the stand.
  4. Upgrade the bar when you can afford it.
  5. Resume training, then test your distance with another throw.

Buying a bar upgrade and doing pull-ups are separate actions. After spending money on the equipment, get back on the stand to continue building power.

Keep an eye on your strength and level while training, but judge your immediate progress by where your food lands. Reaching another area gives you a practical target beyond watching the numbers climb.

Upgrade Your Bar Without Neglecting Animal Income

Your animals fund your training upgrades. That makes collecting useful animals part of getting stronger, even when your immediate goal is throwing distance.

Throw Food For Animals — Upgrade Your Bar Without Neglecting Animal Income

Start by establishing income in your pen before settling into a longer training session. Then alternate between improving the bar and throwing food to collect more animals. Staying on an inexpensive stand while you have enough money for an upgrade leaves that training purchase unused.

Pull-up equipment progresses through different bars, including a golden bar and FrostBar. Upgrade prices rise substantially as you advance, so compare the next training purchase with the food you can currently afford.

Use these priorities when deciding where to spend:

  • Upgrade the bar when you want to improve your training gains.
  • Buy better food to pursue rarer animals and improve your income.
  • Expand the pen when capacity prevents you from collecting more animals.

Pen space becomes a real progression obstacle: a full pen can stop another throw. Check your animal menu before heading back to the throwing line, and use the animal-selling shop or a pen upgrade to make room.

Improve Your Throw Timing Before Training Longer

Strength and throw timing both matter. Even after training, an incomplete charge can leave your food short of the area you were trying to reach.

Throw Food For Animals — Improve Your Throw Timing Before Training Longer

At the throwing line, aim for the perfect or max-power timing mark. Near an area's distance boundary, that timing can determine whether the food reaches it. Taiga is one example where a perfect throw can reach the intended area while a weaker attempt falls short.

Before spending another session on pull-ups:

  1. Throw your current food with a full charge.
  2. Note which area it reaches.
  3. Repeat the attempt with consistent timing.
  4. Return to training if those throws still land short of your target.

There is also a gear icon beside the strength stat for adjusting throw distance. Check that setting if your aim is to reach farther areas.

Use consistent food and timing when comparing throws before and after training. That makes the distance change easier to judge.

Turn Farther Throws Into Better Training Funds

Reaching a new area opens access to different animals, but the next catch still matters. Repeating a throw with the same food can attract different creatures, so keep collecting rather than expecting one food item to produce the same animal every time.

Compare animals by their cash per second when deciding what to keep. In the early game, examples include a gold bird earning $12 per second and a golden badger earning $37 per second. Those differences give you a concrete reason to improve your collection alongside your strength.

Use Equip Best in the animal menu after adding stronger earners. Before selling older animals, compare their income with the replacements you have collected.

What the x2 Training Power Pass Does

The x2 Training Power pass costs 149 Robux and doubles the XP earned from every pull-up permanently. It boosts training gains; you still need to use the pull-up stand.

The x2 Cash pass costs 99 Robux and permanently doubles cash earned from every animal. Its effect supports purchases such as food, pen expansions, and bar upgrades through higher animal income.

Choose based on the obstacle you are facing: XP per pull-up or money for purchases. Before buying either pass, use your available bar upgrades and practice full-charge throws so you can identify what is holding back your distance.
