How to Equip Animals With Equip Best
Looking for the Throw Food For Animals equip animals option? Open Animals and select Equip Best to update the animals working on your plot. Replacing weak earners helps turn your latest catches into money for better food and training upgrades.
Use this sequence after collecting a stronger animal:
- Open Animals.
- Select Equip Best.
- Check your plot’s lineup and the income values of the animals placed there.
Collecting an animal and putting it to work are separate steps. Animals can remain in your backpack while older, weaker catches occupy your plot. If you’re collecting animals worth millions per second but still have early catches earning hundreds, refresh your lineup before spending money on another upgrade.
Use Equip Best again after another valuable catch. Don’t assume a previous selection will handle every animal you collect afterward.

What to Do When Your Plot Is Full
The “Your plot is full” message means your current placement capacity has been reached. Start by opening Animals and using Equip Best so stronger catches can replace weaker earners.

Plot capacity can also be upgraded with in-game money. An early setup holds 10 animals, and a 40 million upgrade adds room for two more. Further upgrades can bring capacity to 20 animals.
Choose between replacing animals and buying space based on your inventory:
- Stronger animals waiting in your backpack: Use Equip Best to refresh the occupied slots.
- More useful animals than available spaces: Buy a capacity upgrade when you can afford it.
- Mostly weak extras: Compare their earnings before spending money to place more of them.
Animals can also be sold. Review their income before selling, especially after a large jump into a new area. Clear out unwanted low earners after arranging the lineup you want to keep.
Compare Cash per Second, Not Just Rarity
A dramatic catch animation or long rarity number doesn’t automatically mean an animal earns more money.

For example, a Big Ruby Quawker earns 1.6k per second, while a Gold lion earns 3.1k per second. The rarer-looking catch can lose the income comparison.
The same issue comes up when collecting ocean animals:
| Animal | Cash per second |
|---|---|
| Seahorse | 20 million |
| Mantis shrimp | 30 million |
| Gold mantis shrimp | 45 million |
A newly collected seahorse earns less than an existing mantis shrimp. Compare it with your weakest equipped animal, rather than assuming every new catch should replace your strongest one.
Mutations can change that comparison, too. A gold mantis shrimp earns more than the regular version in this example. Read each animal’s displayed earnings instead of choosing by species alone.
Refresh Your Lineup After Reaching a New Area
The game’s progression connects animal income, food purchases, and Throw Power. Animals generate money, better food attracts rarer animals, and pull-up training increases your throwing power so you can reach farther areas.

Use that loop to keep your plot productive:
- Collect animals in the area your throws currently reach.
- Use Equip Best after stronger catches.
- Spend the increased income on food and pull-up bar upgrades.
- Train, throw farther, and compare the next catches with your current lineup.
After reaching a new area, make several throws before moving on if your plot still contains much weaker animals. Replacing several old earners can improve your income while you save for the next expensive purchase.
How the Halloween Pumpkin Monster Scales
In the Halloween version, the Pumpkin Monster earns 900% of your best animal’s income. That makes improvements to your strongest animal especially valuable.
For example, a gorilla earning 1.5 million per second corresponds to 13.5 million per second from the Pumpkin Monster. A gold mantis shrimp earning 45 million per second raises that figure to 405 million per second.
Read that multiplier as nine times the best animal’s income. When arranging a lineup that includes the Pumpkin Monster, check its displayed earnings again after collecting a new strongest animal.
